This Admission Policy outlines the norms, procedures, and responsibilities
applicable to
prospective students applying for online programs at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research
Institute. All candidates are advised to read and understand the following terms carefully
before initiating the admission process.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must ensure that their qualifying degree has been awarded by a
recognized university or institution.

It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to verify and ensure that they meet the
eligibility norms prescribed for the specific program before applying.

Admission is subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria and submission of supporting
documents as per University guidelines.

Mandatory Documents

At the time of online registration, applicants are required to scan and upload all
relevant documents as specified in the registration instructions provided on the
website.

Submission of incomplete, false, or misleading information or documents at any
stage will lead to immediate cancellation of admission without refund.

Registration & Document Verification

Admission will be processed based on the information and documents provided by the
candidate.

Upon receipt of the complete set of documents and applicable fees, the University’s
enrollment team will initiate verification of the documents.

A Provisional Number will be generated within 21 working days (excluding courier
timelines), post successful verification of documents and payment confirmation.

Admission Confirmation

Admission will be considered as provisionally enrolled until the University issues
the official Enrollment/Registration Number.

Final confirmation is subject to approval by the University after document verification
and eligibility validation.

Fee Payment Terms

Candidates are required to deposit the applicable program fees on the day of
counseling or at the time of admission to confirm enrollment.

Students may choose a payment plan (lump sum or installment) at the time of
admission. No changes to the selected plan will be entertained later.

In case of installment payment, candidates must submit postdated cheques along
with the admission form.

Non-payment of fees as per the chosen plan or on due dates may result in
cancellation of admission.

The University reserves the right to modify the program structure, eligibility
norms, fee structure, and curriculum at any point without prior notice.

Changes, if any, will be communicated via the official website or other formal
channels.
